365 Photos a Year: Day 177: Baby Oliver Newborn Photos

My niece and I went out to do some newborn photos with baby Oliver today. I am not a baby photographer, but I did the best I can. He is such a sweet subject that you can't go wrong.

This is my favorite of what I edited so far.

He slept through most of the photos.

 Love when he scrunches up.

It's like he's saying, "Are they ever gonna finish!"

Just so sweet.

365 Photos a Year: Day 177: Pink (or something close) Flowers

These are some pink, or something close to pink, flowers we saw at the Gainesville Botanical Gardens. I can't always tell colors when they are close to something else. My eye doc calls it a color differentiating problem. Hopefully, these are all at least close to pink.

I am not sure if this one is pink or purple. I loved the background. Another one that looks almost painted to me.

Another I'm not sure if it's pink or purple. I just think it's pretty.

This one I couldn't decide between peach or pink.

Purple or pink? I just thought they were cute because they are so small.

These I know are pink, y'all...lol
Pink or peach? Not sure again.

Another pink or peach. They had a bunch this color it seems.

365 Photos a Year: Day 176: Cone Flowers

I've heard these called cone flowers before. I have no idea what their real name is. I just like how spiky they are. The Gainesville Botanical Gardens really is a pretty place, y'all.

I really like the background in this one. My 50mm lens again. I love that thing!

I had never seen one this color before. I like it.

 All the spikes!

They had a bunch of these flowers.

365 Photos a Year: Day 175: Daises at Gainesville Botanical Gardens

I love daises and we saw plenty of them on our visit to Gainesville Botanical Gardens with my photography club today. I know some people will think it crazy that I picked the daises to edit first out of all the colorful flowers, but what can I say. I just like 'em.

This is my favorite daisy shot of the day. I love the moodiness of the shot.

I was happy that the purple of the leaves showed behind these. I kept working on my angle trying to achieve this outcome.

I like the natural two color background in this one.

 Living on the edge.

I like all the raindrops on this one.

I like that this one almost looks like a painting in the background.

Flying daisies!

365 Photos a Year: Day 174: Reflections at Lindale Mill

These are a few reflection shots I got on our visit to Lindale Mill. It's always nice when you can get reflections, even just small ones.

This one is a little artsy with the reflection being in the puddle.

Not a lot of reflections in this one but still reflections all the same.

Close up of the building reflection.

Long shot of the building reflections.

I liked the sky and the little reflection of this one.

Reflection from the other direction.

365 Photos a Year: Day 173: Historic District of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA

My son and I rode through the little circle that is the historic district of Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. It is small, but they have some beautiful old houses there.

This is my favorite one. I like the architecture of the house and I love the trees around it.

I like this one too. I think I have a thing for brown today.

I love the porch on this one.

I'm not much for all white but it works here.

I bet it's nice inside with all those windows open.

Not my favorite color combo but the photo is good.

I like yellow but this house didn't appeal to me as much as the others.

I would not want an pink house but I like the style.

365 Photos a Year: Day 172: Windows at Lindale Mill

Here are some more of the windows at Lindale Mill that I liked. They have so many cool windows there, y'all. It is a really great place to visit for photographers.

I liked how dusty these were and the vines growing up on them.

I like all the lines and different colors in this one.

I liked the cracked and broken windows here.

 All the green peeling paint!

I like the colors you can see through the window in this one.

I like the brick and vines here.

This one is almost all painted over.

The vines were nice and the shape of the windows.
